Loser: Adam Sandler

Do you remember when Adam Sandler ruled the multiplex?  When every summer film he released was guaranteed to gross over $100 million?  Well, those days are long gone. Sony Pictures may have marketed November's "Jack and Jill" to a $75 million U.S. gross, but the long term effect on Sandler's career may take years to undue. The former "SNL" star teamed up with recently departed "SNL" cast member Andy Samberg for "That's My Boy."  The picture was a rare R-rated play for Sandler, but the edgier material didn't work as "Boy" found just $36.9 million.  That makes it Sandler's worst grossing release since the platformed "Reign Over Me" made $19.6 million in 2007. Ouch.
