We say: Could be worse. Certainly a more interesting choice than Efron would ever be and he does look even more like Peter Parker than Maguire did. He can play goofy right?

The last film was 3 years ago, and now rather than moving forward we're going allllll the way back to Peter Parker getting bit by a spider, seeing Uncle Ben die, avenging him, getting all buddy buddy with Harry Osborn, dancing clumsily around Mary Jane, etc etc etc. I'm not saying the first 3 were perfect. I just don't want to see another goddam origin story for Spider-Man all over again.
