Why She Might Work: Fresh off the success of "Sound of Music," Carrie Underwood is the face of NBC's Event Programming strategy and you know that the network would love to extend its relationship with her. Rosemary is a part that requires equal parts confusion and discomfort and, let's face it, those were the emotions that Underwood conveyed best in "The Sound of Music." Just as the Underwood trainwreck curiosity factor attracted attention to "Sound of Music," the potential for a trainwreck would be even greater here.
Why It's a Bad Idea: It's a bad idea because it's a silly idea. Don't worry. We're not taking it seriously either. However, if this is successful and NBC decides to remake Ira Levin's "Stepford Wives"? Surely there's a role for Robo-Carrie in that one.
