Why She Might Work: With her delicate features and enormous eyes, she captures the Farrow's gamine look (and we're sure she'd look phenomenal with a pixie cut). More than that, she's able to look sweet and innocent at all times, even when she's playing characters who do very bad things (see: "House of Cards"). She definitely can handle a few Satan worshipping neighbors.
Why It's a Bad Idea: At 30, Mara is a little older and wiser than the slow-to-catch-on Rosemary. Given the possibility of backlash against a remake of a classic (though that might be mitigated with "Treme" director Agnieszka Holland at the helm), this might not be the kind of career boost Mara needs.
