13 candidates the 'Dark Knight' director should consider before sealing any deal
Best known for: "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning," "Battle: Los Angeles"
Pros: He's getting very strong buzz for his work on "Battle" and has a cult following for the underrated "The Killing Room." He's also has significant experience inside the studio system, but has continued to keep his own voice in almost everything he does.
Cons: No one really knows if "Battle" is that good. The word out of Comic-Con was mixed and rebooting "Superman" may be a bit out of his league. Not necessarily a fan favorite yet either.
Chances: Low. Is seemingly booked with "Clash of the Titans 2," but could WB move him from one tentpole to another?
