Robin Thicke
Music cred: A three-time Grammy winner as a songwriter and producer, the R&B storyteller has sold over 2 million albums on his own and worked with artist such as Lil'Wayne, Jennifer Hudson, Usher and Mary J. Blige.
Why he would be good: He's been around the music industry and Hollywood almost his entire life. He overcame being the son of the dad on "Growing Pains" to become a legitimate and respected R&B singer so he knows what it takes to succeed in a very difficult business. He also inherited his parents charisma which certainly won't hurt on live TV.
Why he could suck: It's hard to see him not being a good judge, but will audiences respect him enough? He might be too bland. And thats likely Cowell's opinion.
Chances: Not great. He just seems like too much of a reach. Maybe something similar 10 years from now? - Gregory Ellwood
