Music Cred: Though her chart success has dimmed, she's been making music for more than half of her 32 years, and was named by Billboard as one of the top 50 R&B and Hip-Hop artists of the past 25 years.
Why she would be good: She's already a reality show vet, whether it was "Dancing With the Stars," "Brandy and Ray J: A Family Business," and, most pertinently, as a mentor on kiddie talent show, HubTV's "Majors and Minors."
Why she could suck: She could be too nice or too distracted with all her other ventures, including promoting a new album and her ongoing acting career.
Chances: Not great. She's not enough of a draw to bring in an audience, though Simon Cowell could do much worse. - Melinda Newman
