John Fogerty, "The Blue Ridge Rangers Rides Again" (Fantasy/Concord)
Gross syntax era in the title aside, CCR's founder/Rock and Roll Hall of Famer revisits the Blue Ridge Rangers roots rocker concept he first created in 1973. The set contains only one song written by Fogerty. The rest are songs from the last several decades that he has loved, including "Garden Party" (where he's joined by Eagles' Don Henley and Timothy B. Schmit) and "When Will I Be Loved" with Bruce Springsteen.
