BubbleWatch: FOX's 'Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles'
SHOW: "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" (FOX)
IN ITS FAVOR: A small, but dedicated fan base and several very strong episodes to end its season, including a well-regarded finale. Ratings are dreadful, but they become merely very, very bad if you factor in DVR figures and downloads and whatnot. There's also the myth that if "Terminator: Salvation" is a hit this summer, it might benefit "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles."
AGAINST IT: Even before being shipped to Friday nights, ratings for "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" were already low and falling. Considering where the show started, ratings-wise, with its two-hour premiere last season, the drop gives zero sign for hope. Also, "T:SCC" isn't the cheapest show on TV.
OUR GUESS: FOX is likely to feel like that second season was bonus enough given where ratings were already going last season. If "T:SCC" came back, we'd certainly watch it, but it won't be back. Wait. Was that a "Terminator" joke? It wasn't intentional.
THE VERDICT: "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" had been cancelled.
