Which shows won't make it back?
BubbleWatch: 'Beauty and the Beast'
SHOW: "Beauty and the Beast" (The CW)
IN ITS FAVOR: "Beauty and the Beast" has a small and kinda scary following. And, percentage-wise, it gets 65+ percent growth when Live+7 DVR data is included.
AGAINST IT: It's really easy to get a high DVR percentage when your live audience averages 802,000 viewers and a 0.3 rating among adults 18-49. It sure doesn't look good that The CW pulled "Beauty and the Beast" after 16 episodes and that the show has been replaced by another bubble drama -- "The Tomorrow People" -- that has improved on its performance.
OUR TOTALLY UNINFORMED GUESS: The only chance "Beauty and the Beast" has at renewal is if The CW decides that repeats are the tools of the devil and that it's better to fill space with ANYTHING than to not air new programming at all time. This is highly unlikely.
FINAL VERDICT: Renewed. Go figure.
