BubbleWatch: ABC's 'Once Upon a Time'
SHOW: "Once Upon a Time" (ABC)
IN ITS FAVOR: When you include DVR numbers, "Once Upon a Time" is still averaging a 4.1 rating among adults 18-49 and 11.5 million viewers. Not only are those "no-brainer" numbers as far as renewal is concerned, but it makes you understand why ABC is contemplating a spinoff.
AGAINST IT: Numbers for "Once Upon a Time" have declined steadily and steeply through the spring. Live viewership at this point is roughly half of that season-to-date DVR number in the key demo. In addition, "Once Upon a Time" hasn't been able to help "Revenge" retain its Season 1 success.
OUR TOTALLY UNINFORMED GUESS: "Once Upon a Time" will be back next season, but ABC has to be at least a bit concerned about both the spring declines and the show's weakness as a lead-in.
FINAL VERDICT: Renewed!
