BubbleWatch: CBS' 'Vegas'
SHOW: "Vegas" (CBS)
IN ITS FAVOR: Glitzy celebrity wattage and an "NCIS: Los Angeles" lead-in were enough to get "Vegas" a decent sampling in the fall, but that audience dwindled. Even post-dwindle, though, "Vegas" settled into a reasonably steady audience pattern for the winter and early spring. CBS may see some value in continuing with "Vegas" now that the sets are built and all of that cost is out of the way? Yeah. That's reaching.
AGAINST IT: Then CBS pulled "Vegas" for over a month and shifted it to Fridays, where the drama did under a 1.0 rating among adults 18-49 a recent airing. CBS has become so apathetic about "Vegas" that when an episode had to be preempted due to Boston bombing coverage, CBS just dumped that episode on Saturday.
OUR TOTALLY UNINFORMED GUESS: CBS doesn't renew shows that do under a 1.0 key demo rating. Bet everything on cancellation.
FINAL VERDICT: Cancelled!
