BubbleWatch: CBS' 'Blue Bloods'
SHOW: "Blue Bloods" (CBS)
IN ITS FAVOR: Great cast, some critical support and reliably strong overall numbers on Friday night. Throw in reportedly excellent international pre-sales and the "Blue Bloods" renewal is basically a formality.
AGAINST IT: The overall numbers are great. The ratings among young viewers are significantly less impressive. An attempt to expand the show's audience with a few airings outside of its Friday home did nothing to change the demos.
OUR TOTALLY UNINFORMED GUESS: "Blue Bloods" will be back next fall. Any other network would have already renewed by now. CBS plays by its own rules.
Final Verdict: CBS renewed "Blue Bloods."
