'Beverly Hills Cop,' 'Naked Gun,' and 'Escape From New York': What's next?
'Fast Times at Ridgemont High': FALSE
Let's face it: a "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" remake would be completely ridiculous. The film doesn't boast a high-concept hook that could easily translate to modern-day, and it's so quintessentially '80s - remember when teenagers actually hung out in malls? - that any remake/"reimagining" would be essentially pointless - a transparent attempt to cash in on a well-known title and nothing more.
