Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows
Lowdown: He's back! So is Watson (Jude Law) and newcomers Noomi Rapace ("The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo") and, as the villain Moriarty, Jared Harris.
Grade: B. Similar-looking, but featuring way more big-budget action than expected. Robert Downey Jr. in drag is worth a laugh, but not three or four.

July 17, 2011 at 5:35AM EST Reply to CommentThe Trailer for Sherlock Holmes actually made me less excited for it. It looks like they turned the whole thing into Bad Boys in the 19th century. Add that to the vastly superior BBC and I don't think I'll be seeing A Game of Shadows. Also, Cranston should be included on the list of Contagion cast members.
