Trailer Grades: 'Little Fockers,' 'Voyage of the Dawn Treader,' 'The Smurfs'

Lowdown: Edmund, Lucy and Prince Caspain are back in the third and possibly most popular installment of C.S. Lewis' "Narnia" adventures. Oh, and with a new studio to boot.
Grade: B+. Not a lot of genuine tension, but the spectacle looks great and it seems much more entertaining than the dark and dreary "Prince Caspian." And is that the return of Tilda Swinton as the White Witch? We're sold.

It takes a long time for the reader to know exactly what awaits the kids. Thanks for spoiling it for everyone who has not read the book...

Nowhere in the marketing of the book or movie does is spell out as clearly as it does here what's going on. I just bought this book and now I don't even want to read it.

And, the one the Voyage of the Dawn Trader was, frankly, muddled. The lowered budget shows, and the really overused music doesn't do it any good either. And the ending shot of Aslan roaring seemed just like in the 1st 2 movies, and it was really bad CGI. Meh.
Liked the trailer for RED quite a lot. Had a great sense of "fun" to it. Morgan Freeman's bit with the assistant and the TV was funny and Mary Louise Parker is damn hot!
Agree with you on Tangled. Weren't they gonna do this as hand-drawn animation a while back? That would have been much better than this banal CGI stuff. And really looks like teengirl-pandering stuff.
Haven't gotten around to seeing Scott Pilgrim's International Trailer yet. Will do tomorrow.

Brent Seriously, nowhere in the marketing for the book or the movie do they reveal why the boarding school students are special. It's the biggest secret in the whole novel, and this jerk just spoiled it in one sentence.
