Lowdown: Documentary about the 1970s project attempting to teach a chimpanzee how to speak sign language and interact on a virtually human level, from the James Marsh, director of the acclaimed "Man On Wire."
Grade: B. Should be interesting, but the trailer is a little too full of talking head interviews, and doesn't seem to offer much in the way of dramatic conflict (stitches are pretty dramatic though, I guess). File next to: "Koko: A Talking Gorilla" (1978), Jane Goodall documentaries and "Congo."
