Blade Runner (1982)
Plot: In near-future Los Angeles, a "blade runner" is forced out of retirement when he must hunt down six "replicants" (human clones) who have escaped from an extraterrestrial colony and landed on Earth.
What's in it for guys: This Ridley Scott sci-fi classic is a visually-stunning masterpiece of futuristic film noir. Harrison Ford was at his peak here as Deckard, the film's gruff central anti-hero.
What's in it for girls: The romance that develops between Decker and beautiful replicant Rachael (Sean Young) is at points steamy and emotionally affecting as they grapple with the limits of her capacity to feel.
