Plot: A man and a woman have second thoughts after voluntarily undergoing a procedure by which all memories of one another are erased from their minds.

What's in it for guys: Any  man who has ever loved and lost can relate to Carrey's painfully realistic portrayal of a sad sack grieving for a woman who stole his heart. The plot's fantasy elements also provide moments of breathtaking visual flair courtesy of visionary director Michel Gondry.

What's in it for girls: "Eternal Sunshine" is a beautiful, ultimately hopeful love story constructed with real heart and buoyed by fantastic chemistry between Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet. Yes, there are tear-jerking moments a-plenty.
