10 Valentine's Day movies guys will actually enjoy

While on the one hand we hate to bolster all those tired male-female stereotypes this Valentine's Day, there's no denying they exist for a reason. Yes, some guys are unrepentant criers and some women can sit stone-faced through an entire viewing of "The Notebook", but those folks aren't exactly representative of their respective genders on the whole. Indeed, one of the very reasons so many men dread Valentine's Day is that they're faced with the looming threat of being forced to watch a romantic tearjerker that in no way speaks to their needs. That being said, there are those films that hold appeal for the more testosterone-driven members of the male gender while also serving as perfectly appropriate V-Day viewing fodder (or at least close enough). Here are ten that we think make the grade.

Wow...Love Jones. Great pick, haven't thought about that one in years! Well acted and everything you say it is. I thought I'd see Crazy, Stupid, Love on the list. My husband and a few other men I know were surprised how much they actually liked it!

What about The 40-Year-Old Virgin? That's my Valentine's Day movie (watched by myself, of course).

I was keeping my fingers crossed for True Romance to make the list. If Clarence and Alabama aren't true love then I don't know what is.

Yeah, ladies can't watch a movie without a love story in it. Glad to get a women's perspective on... oh, written by two guys? big surprise.
