10. Bruce Greenwood, "Thirteen Days" (2000)
Roger Donaldson's 2000 account of the Cuban Missile Crisis is really an under-appreciated gem that should have picked up steam in the awards season. Stirring a little bit of supporting actor talk that year was Bruce Greenwood, whose John F. Kennedy might be the best depiction of the 35th president we've ever had on film. (We'll see if James Marsden has anything to say about that in "The Butler" later this year.) Greenwood is so presidential he even got a second crack at playing POTUS a few years later in "National Treasure: Book of Secrets."
