Worst Male Performance: Keanu Reeves, "The Matrix" (1999)
I want to give this dishonor to Leonardo DiCaprio, who won for his swinging-for-the-bleachers performance in "The Aviator," but unfortunately Keanu takes it. Cool things happen to Keanu in "The Matrix," but I wouldn't mistake that for a great performance. Here's what Keanu is best for: being the hot, pouty naif in "Dangerous Liaisons." That is what I am talking about. We don't need more of this green-screen emoting and put-on seriousness.
