December 27, 2012 at 8:19PM EST Reply to Commentironic, most of the shows that are crap stay on 4ever w/gr8 ratings, while intelligent, creative shows like fringe get cancelled. in all my years of watching tv, i've never been asked to participate in the ratings system. who do they ask????

December 27, 2012 at 8:22PM EST Reply to Commenti'm amazed by the tv shows that have high ratings while gr8 creative & intelligent shows like fringe are cancelled. in all my years of watching tv i've never been asked to participate in a ratings poll. so, who exactly are the people who determine the ratings because there are some real crappy tv shows w/high ratings.
dan Sheila - "Fringe" aired for five seasons and 100 episodes, including at least three seasons where it was the lowest rated drama on network TV. That counts as a long life nurtured by a network.
