Let's see... There was the tape-delaying of events the rest of the world saw live, the poorly-placed commercials within those breaks, the annoyance of seeing the same "Animal Practice" promo over and over, the arbitrary editing within those events, the predictably jingoistic programming choices, the sorta-kinda accidental racism and all of the other ineptitude that led to the wildly popular #NBCFail hashtag. And then there were the robust ratings that will lead to NBC ignoring absolutely everything that stunk about its coverage under the guise of "People watched, therefore it must have been good." Like McKayla Maroney, I was not impressed.
