4. Bronx Beat (2/18/12)
Returning “SNL” alum Maya Rudolph hosted one of the strongest episodes of the year, and the return of “Bronx Beat” was that show’s highlight. Not only did Rudolph return to her comedic roots here, but so too did Amy Poehler, taking a break from her time in Pawnee to effortlessly recapture the chemistry that make this recurring sketch a delight during their run on the show. Throw in a solid, surprise cameo by Justin Timberlake and you had a sketch that reminded everyone just how much fun the show can be when talented live artists simply enjoy each other onstage.
