    Son of Mecha Mummy

Mine, in no particular order and mostly just given numbers so I can keep track.

    1. She's a Rainbow/Graduation Day (Mick Jagger)
    2. Lincoln (Louis CK)
    3. Maya Angelou Prank Show (Maya Rudolph)
    4. Puppet Class (Seth MacFarlane)
    5. Bein' Quirky with Zooey Deschanel (Zooey Deschanel)
    6. Swarovski Crystals (Jamie Foxx)
    7. Weekend Update (Martin Short. This is a combined one for Meyers' strong delivery and two great guest commentaries by Bayer and Strong)
    8. Les Jeunes des Paris (Zooey Deschanel)
    9. Maine Justice (Jamie Foxx)
    10. J-Pop America Fun Time Now (Jonah Hill. This shouldn't really be here but honestly, there are few things on SNL that I replayed as much as the song from this one. Hill completely losing it in a matter of seconds and Killam and Bayer's reactions are amazing.)

The_Franch81 Great call on the Maya Angelou Prank Show bit. Classic! From that same episode, I would have also added the Jay-Z/Beyonce baby skit as best of 2012. "Oh no. Bon Iver has put himself to sleep".

    Max

I agree with some of that list (although I'd have put "Lincoln" MUCH higher), as well as Son of Mecha Mummy's list. Some other ones that I would definitely put in the top ten:

    1. Beyonce and Jay-Z's party for Blue Ivy. Timberlake's Bon Iver alone makes this a serious contender.

    2. The Chinese factory workers addressing the critics of the iPhone 5. Yes, the people playing the factory workers weren't really Chinese/diversity/blah blah blah, but that shouldn't take away from it being a funny idea that was well-executed.

    3. ANY of the "Into the Cage" segments from Weekend Update.

Lee Harvey The iPhone5 sketch had more bite than anything on SNL in a long time. Loved it.

DanDruff Hold on, did I miss it or was "Dick Fuel" not on this list?

Definitely the strongest sketch of this season and, in my opinion, rivals "Total Bastard Airlines" as the best moment in the annals of this show's history.

My highlights if the SNL in 2012:

    1) The Californians (Josh Brolin). Subsequent Californians skits have been average, but this first one was classic.
    2) Jay-Z/Beyonce/Blue Ivy (Maya Rudolph)
    3) Swarovski Crystals (Jamie Foxx)
    4) Lincoln (Louis C.K)
    5) Bat Mitzvah Dancing (Channing Tatum)
    6) Dylan McDermott or Dermot Mulroney (Jamie Foxx)
    7) Intern Devin Pandora Singing (Bruno Mars)
    8) The Son of the Most Interesting Man in the World (Joseph Gordon-Levitt)
    9) The Legend of Mokiki and the Sloppy Swish (Anne Hathaway)
    10) Court Room Text Transcript (Eli Manning)

Honorable Mentions: Puppet Class, The Real Housewives of Disney, Maya Angelou prank show, Royal Gyneocologist, Bronx Beat

Best Cold Opens – New York Sports Now Jeremy Lin, Rush Limbaugh Sponsors

Best Weekend Update Recurring characters- Drunk Uncle, The Woman You Shouldn’t Have Started a Conversation With at a Party.

    Best Episode: Maya Rudolph

Rule #1 any skit with Kenan can not be anywhere near the top ten. He sucks.
