"A.I.: Artificial Intelligence" (2001)
There are areas of the exhibit generously dedicated to Kubrick's incomplete work, including "Napoleon" and "Aryan Papers." Here is a wall from a room dedicated to "A.I. : Artificial Intelligence," which Kubrick developed for nearly 20 years before passing the film on to director Steven Spielberg, who Kubrick thought better suited for the material. Following Kubrick's death in 1999, Spielberg went right to work on the project, using Kubrick's notes and screenplay to craft what is ultimately a beautiful ode to his friend and one of the filmmaker's best works to date.
