The Mystery of 'Jackass 3-D': What does it all mean?

We look at six new images from the film and try to find the creator's deeper intent

Not just spectacle or stunt, is 'Jackass' art?

Not just spectacle or stunt, is 'Jackass' art?

Yes, the critics have adored the two "Jackass" films of the last eight years for their intentional laughs, but where is the respect from the artistic community at large?  When did the wonder of someone drinking urine stop being seen as performance art?  When did putting hair from your private area on someone's face become farce?  Will we have to wait 50 years to see the artistic achievement of having a man fail at reaching the stars by riding on the top of a rocket?

Take a look at these six new images from the upcoming "Jackass 3-D" and discover the deeper context of director Jeff Tremaine, screenwriter Preston Lacy and producers Johnny Knoxville and Academy Award nominee Spike Jonze.  You'll be glad you did.

FINALLY a movie that isn't just using 3D as a gimmick!

I'll be seeing this one just like all the other Jackass films.
