6. "Men in Black" (1997)
Baker has had the chance of a lifetime with the "Men in Black" trilogy, all of it leading toward his play at retro designs recalling the monster movies of his youth on the latest installment. But the introductory film is still a great example of makeup and effects designs working hand-in-hand with art direction and set design, yielding a whole vibrant world unlike anything we'd ever seen. The characters are the most memorable of the series, particularly Vincent D'Onofrio in a Vincent D'Onofrio costume.
