8. "Ed Wood" (1994)

Baker won an Oscar with fellow titans in the field Ve Neill and Yolanda Toussieng for their work on actor Martin Landau in Tim Burton's "Ed Wood," and how deserving it was. Landau might have owed a portion of his own Oscar win that night to their contribution transforming him into classic horror star Bela Lugosi. Indeed, he made sure to mention them in his acceptance speech. The actor was barely recognizable under the applications and you could tell the whole experience helped him dig further into the tormented character.
