1. "Harry and the Hendersons" (1987)

Here is where that simian expressiveness paid off in spades, and though many will point to the revelatory work done in entry #2 on this list for Baker's grandest achievement, I gotta stick up for Harry. The lovable titular Sasquatch of 1987's funny and touching "Harry and the Hendersons" may have been embodied by towering actor Kevin Peter Hall, but Baker's work on the big oaf's visage was what plucked the heartstrings and fully defined the unique character. What's more, it still holds up today, a sterling achievement in the realm of movie makeup. Indeed, it's one of Baker's proudest achievements, and one that brought him yet another Oscar.
