12. "Brave" (Mark Andrews, Brenda Chapman, 2012)
Despite getting swept up in some general displeasure with the company at the time, Brave is actually a really touching film that tells a very human story about family and the ties that bind. It features some of the studio's most beautiful animation to date (indeed, neck and neck with the top entries on this list where that's concerned), but ultimately it comes across a bit more like top-tier Disney than top-tier Pixar, lacking the thematic density of the latter's output. — Kristopher Tapley
