November 8, 2011 at 3:53PM EST Reply to CommentThank you for including Bryce Dallas Howard for 'Hereafter', an underrated performance for sure. Her scenes are by far the best in a flawed film, and the way she establishes the character and creates a history for her in a few brief scenes was pretty incredible.
I would've included Hilary Swank and Morgan Freeman in my list, both of which I felt were better than Jolie in 'Changeling'. JMHO, though.

November 12, 2011 at 4:48PM EST Reply to CommentAs a HUGE Clint Eastwood fan I am REALLY glad to see Kevin Costner and A Perfect World mentioned. It's my favorite movie of Clint Eastwood's that he directed. And that's a huge statement coming from a gigantic western fan. If someone even mentions Kevin Costner can't act; my one argument: A Perfect World. Sure, he's had some pretty awful and miscast performances, but he really brought that character to life. I don't usually cry during movies but I could not hold that one in!
