With a new year comes a new reserve of hope for what the multiplexes might have to offer. While HitFix has already cranked out a big list of 30 titles most movie-lovers are anticipating this year, we at In Contention put our heads together and came up with our own. What is this really, a list of movies that may be nominated for next year's Oscars, or movies that you can say you are most looking forward to in order to earn a bit of hipster cred? If these really are the movies you guys are most looking forward to, then good luck forsaking the interests of the audience that makes your site possible.
