"Pan Am" (ABC)
The Look: It's the 1960s, Kennedy is in office, and women have slightly more freedoms and rights than German Shepherds. Yay. As befits an era before feminism took hold, the girdles are tight, the hair is coiffed and the dresses are probably made out of something scratchy.
Standout Style: It's hard to deny that the Pan Am uniform, with its pencil skirt and 3/4 length jacket sleeves, was awfully sharp.
Could You Wear It? Some of the dresses still work, but head to toe? Only for costume parties.
