Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts, 'Iron Man' trilogy (2008-2013)
Robert Downey Jr. chews the scenery every single second he's on screen as Tony Stark. But Gwyneth/Pepper don't care, she'll stand toe-to-toe and steal scenes right out from under him. She sees Tony, warts and all, and loves him anyway. Their adorkable, quotable banter and realistic but optimistic portrayal of a romantic relationship should give us all hope. But what makes Pepper really special is being the love interest doesn't define her. From secretary to CEO of Stark Industries, she's a woman in a man's world and human holding her own in a superhuman reality.
