WORST - CBS' "Partners"
Nestled between "How I Met Your Mother" and "2 Broke Girls" in CBS' Monday lineup David Kohan and Max Mutchnick's latest has more in common with the latter than the former. And what else would you expect from the writers behind "Four Kings" and "Feces My Dad Says" and "Good Morning, Miami"? ["Will & Grace," which I didn't love either, is the anomaly on their resume at this point.] Trafficking, once again, in lame, broad stereotypes of sexual identity, Mutchnick and Kohan have crafted one of the year's least appealing characters in Michael Urie's Louis and despite repeating often that the pilot is based on their own creative partnership, there's no chemistry at all to the show's main friendship.
