Oh come on, "The Mob Doctor." If you're going to have a ludicrous Lifetime movie-of-the-week title and premise and you're going to have William Forsythe playing the most stereotypical mobster in recent TV history, try to have some FUN. Instead, "The Mob Doctor" is all superficially tortured morality and generic medical procedure. There's an off chance that this Jordana Spiro drama may eventually embrace its darkness and that it may eventually make use of entirely wasted supporting players like Zeljko Ivanek and Zach Gilford. Unfortunately, if "The Mob Doctor" doesn't make a big leap in its second week, I sure won't stick around to await additional improvements.
