You completely missed the worst of the worst when it comes to child abuse and reality shows: "Dance Moms". The Dance Moms themselves are a group of women drawn together by their desire to have their young (7-10 year olds) be taught competition dance by a ponderous, dangerously obese woman named Abby Lee Rose. NOTHING is too horrible for Abby Lee to say to her students or their parents and NOTHING is too suggestive or trashy for Abby Lee to choreograph and costume these children to perform at weekly competitions. This woman is like the villan in 'The Little Mermaid" with the exception that the villian in the Little Mermaid was attractive and kind in comparison. The worst part is the incredible passivity of the dance moms who allow their daughters to be verbally abused every single day in the name of "dance". To give you an idea, this week Abby Lees' girls performed as showgirls in costumes that made them look nude while they learned to twirl fans to cover their nude-look costumes. Their movements to this dance were only slightly more suggestive than what would find in a strip club off the Vegas strip, but innocent, right? because who would see something sexual in a 10 year old dressed and moving like that? UGH.

Dance Moms is not that bad. In fact, it is quite good. If you don't like it, don't watch. Just turn off the TV. It seems simple to me. Why ruin it for people with taste? Go back to watching your professional wrestling. Go back to watching your UFC.
