The Worst Reality TV Shows of 2011

The Kardashians and Oprah make the cut, and they aren't alone

11. "Mad Fashion"

Boy, I wanted to like this show. Chris March was a highlight of "Project Runway" during his season, and was a reliably affable, sometimes emotional presence in the workroom. Unfortunately, surrounded by an pleasant but uninteresting staff and only the occasional nutty client, March seems muted -- as does the show. The one thing I'd never expect from March he delivers -- dullness.

Reality TV is non-fiction television -- talk shows are considered a subgenre, not a separate genre.
