Radiohead/USC Marching Band - '15 Step' (2009)
After sticking it to the system by releasing "In Rainbows" themselves online, the arty Oxford quintet further bucked trends by performing a non-single from the album, "15 Step," at the Grammys. Adding to the glitchy rhythms and Thom Yorke's unearthly wails, the USC marching band (lucky Trojans!) brought a bold blast of brass and drums to the tune. That year Radiohead picked up the Best Alternative Album trophy for the third time in a decade.
