We pick ten thrilling Movies that made their mark at Sundance
At this point, it's hard to remember that "Saw" was originally just a scrappy little indie that no one knew anything about until the film's first Sundance screening. Now, six films later, it's still the fiendishly simple hook of that first film that I believe earned them everything else. Two men locked in a room, chained in place, with a rusty saw on the floor. It can't saw through the chains, though, leaving them both with the same unthinkable option. I may not be the biggest fan of the film, but there's no way to deny just how big an impact it left upon arrival.
