We pick ten thrilling Movies that made their mark at Sundance
Finally, there is no film that has made a larger overall noise out of the Sundance Midnights than "Reservoir Dogs," Quentin Tarantino's announcement that he was ready to kick some serious ass. So often, you can trace a film's reception to one moment, and with "Reservoir Dogs," that's easy. Michael Madsen dancing with a straight razor to the golden tones of Gerry Rafferty singing "Stuck In The Middle With You" is one of those fiendishly perfect movie moments where the audience thinks they saw more than they actually did. Kirk Baltz makes a great victim in the scene, and for all the verbal pyrotechnics on display in the film, it's this one moment of mostly-offscreen violence that still retains the ability to shock and disturb today.
