10 most thrilling Sundance movies: 'Saw,' 'Blair Witch,' 'Reservoir Dogs'
We pick ten thrilling Movies that made their mark at Sundance
One of the greatest things for me about being on the festival circuit reviewing films is that you may find yourself present at the birth of a cultural phenomenon, or you may find yourself as the first person raving about something that later becomes a beloved cult sensation, or you may be there for one of those "Did you hear what happened?" moments in a film or at a Q&A.
Sundance is the first stop of the year for those of us who move from festival to festival, and over the past 25 or so years, the festival has provided more than its fair share of amazing moments. We thought that as we prepare to head up to Park City with all of Team HitFix in tow, it would be fun to look back at some of the most thrilling moments from Sundance's programming over the years, and it should come as no surprise that many of the most dangerous moments in the festival were part of the Park City at Midnight selections.
We're going to look at the start of some amazing careers, some moments that we've never been able to shake, and events that were heard round the world. So buckle up… this could get a little bumpy.

Read it backward, like the structure of the movie.

January 18, 2011 at 1:57AM ESTDavidD I think a lot of people forget that a good chunk of that film moved chronologically forward, though, meeting up with the chronologically backward narrative near the end.

But your point about this being one of "those" moments for the reasons you mention is spot on.

drew Honestly, I don't think either ending works. That's a problem.
