Oscar Nomination Snub: 'Tron Legacy' for Visual Effects
Say what you will about the overall quality of "Tron Legacy," but few people questioned the quality of the 3-D sequel's visual effects. Instead, Oscar voters favored Clint Eastwood's "Hereafter" in the packed category. "Tron Legacy" can take some solace in its Sound Editing nomination, where it will go against one of our favorite oddball Oscar nominees, Tony Scott's "Unstoppable."
