In my opinion, the best thing about "The Brady Bunch Movie" is how it slyly takes down '90s malaise. Every character embedded in the (then-) present day is proud of his snobbishness, materialism, and rancor. Marcia's dream date Doug, a.k.a. "the Big Man on Campus," is a dead-eyed prick who only wants to have sex with the bombshell Brady. Though the Sherwood Schwartz family is absurd, they slowly make you come around to their weirdness by sheer virtue of not being horrible.
