Plus: Horror and comedies make their summertime mark
Loser: Ryan Reynolds
We're starting to get worried about Ryan Reynolds. After his comeback in 2012's "Safe House" (thank you Denzel Washington), he had a supporting voice role in DreamWorks Animation's sizable late winter hit "The Croods." Then the summer season arrived and Reynolds endured a "Green Lantern"/"The Change-Up" free fall once again. The long delayed "R.I.P.D." is quite possibly the biggest bomb of the year (more on that later) and Reynolds was the voice of the title character in the aforementioned bomb "Turbo." If you take a moment to stop and look at his box office career, outside of "The Proposal" he's had mediocre results at best. Maybe it's time everyone just realized he's not leading man material?
