Which films will make the top ten?
2. 'X-Men: Days of Future Past'
Release date: May 23
Rating: Not yet rated (Likely PG-13)
Comparisons: "X-Men: First Class" ($146 million), "The Wolverine" ($132 million)
Prediction: $300 million
Why: Summer movie season is really just Superhero season these days, and Hugh Jackman's Wolverine is perhaps the most recognized of the lot. Adding "First Class" stars Jennifer Lawrence and Michael Fassbender to the already-starry combo of "X-Men" vets Jackman, Halle Berry and Ian McKellan, and "Future Past" is essentially "The Avengers" for the mutant movie universe. Although last year's "The Wolverine" underperformed, Fox is obviously very confident in "Future Past," and is already developing the followup, 2016's "X-Men: Apocalypse."
