Does she have indie cred or is she a publicity whore?
Tough one, but we say publicity whore.
Yes, she appeared in "Being John Malkovich," but that was a decade ago and she doesn't have one true independent film on her resume since. Just lots of romantic comedies and "Shrek" sequels. We think Ms. Diaz should have strutted herself down the Oscar red carpet, not on the beach in Santa Monica.
