December 12, 2012 at 11:59AM EST Reply to CommentIs Joaquin not getting any love this season because he's really just not in the running, or because he's too crazy and he pissed everyone off? I haven't seen Lincoln yet, and I'm not a huge fan of the master (it was good, not great imo) but Phoenix's performance was off the charts in the my opinion. Better than Hoffman. Better than just about anyone.
I'm just liken it to Fassbender not getting a nod for Shame last year because he was just objectively better than everyone else.
